About Hematology Department
Saifee Hospital provides state of art diagnostic and treatment facilities for patients suffering from various haematological and haemato oncological problems in adults and children. Patients suffering from acute and chronic anaemia, bleeding tendencies due to low platelet counts and coagulation factor deficiencies, lymph node enlargement, enlargement of spleen will be immensely benefited by the services provided by Department of Haematology. The Hospital has Department of Laboratory Medicine equipped with the latest technology required for diagnosis of blood diseases. The blood transfusion department of the Hospital can provide high quality blood and blood components such as :
  • Red blood cell concentrate
  • Platelet concentrate (random donor as well as single donor)
  • Cryoprecipitate
  • Fresh frozen plasma
  • which are commonly required for patients suffering from blood diseases.

We achieve high levels of test accuracy and reporting speed through extensive internal and external Quality Assurance exercises. We conduct daily Quality Assurance runs on each instrument, besides periodic calibrations.
