Medical camp for the underprivileged


As instructed by the Charity Commissioner and under the guidance of Dr.S.J.Bapai, Dr.V.P deSa and Committee members, Saifee Hospital organized preliminary medical check-up/treatment/ investigation in 3 nearby areas comprising of underprivileged individuals on Saturday 4th of November 2017.

Total number of patients examined/treated was 396

Organ Donation Awareness Program



Organ Donation Awareness program was held at Saifee Hospital on 20th September 2017 in consultation with ZTCC (Zonal Transplant Co- ordination Center).

 


Total 115 registrations were done successfully.

Workshop on Empathy in Patient care

A workshop on 'Empathy in Patient care' arranged by Team-HR, Saifee Hospital on 16th August 2017.

Renowned speaker Prof. David Berg, entrepreneur & International Speaker led the workshop.

International Women's Day 2017


Saifee Hospital celebrated International Women's Day on 8th March 2017. The theme was : Be Bold For Change Renowned speakers were invited from different fields who graced the occasion with their presence and shared their profound knowledge and experience.

Wellness Baby Clinic




In commemoration of children’s day celebration, the Nursing department of Saifee Hospital organized a wellness baby clinic on 14th November 2016 for the babies born in our hospital from December 2015 to May 2016. The response was overwhelming with approximately 50 children attending the clinic. This included physical examination by nurses, medical checkup by the pediatricians and dietary counseling by the dietitian on "Weaning Schedule" to the parents of these infants. Gift hamper was presented to every child that attended the clinic. It was indeed an exciting day for the children and their parents as they had a feeling of belongingness with Saifee Hospital.

Health Awareness Programme


A Health Awareness Programme by Dr. A.R.Undre on Mind Your Head in collaboration with Royal Educational Society was organised on 25th September 2016.

Medical Camp


Saifee Hospital organised a medical camp for the staff of Hotel Taj Vivanta on 29th September 2016. Total number of 71 staff was screened and consulted by Dr. Altamash Shaikh. The following tests were carried for the staff:- B.P. , Height, Weight, Random Blood Sugar, Hb1Ac, Lipid Profile and General Examination followed by Consultation.

Medical Camp


Saifee Hospital organised a medical camp for the staff and viewers of Metro Cinema, Dhobi Talao on 9th October 2016. The following tests were carried for the staff:- B.P. , Height, Weight, Random Blood Sugar, Hb1Ac, Lipid Profile and General Examination followed by Consultation by Dr. Altamash Shaikh.

Medical Camp at Byculla


A team of doctors and nurses from Saifee Hospital examined around 300 female prisoners and 25 childrens. Free medicines were distributed to all according to their medical problems.

Dr. Arthur Prem along with six senior co-ordinators of Crossroads Ministries also contributed by distributing medicines and soaps to the female prisoners.
